His Excellency the Ambassador Abdulhamid Alfailakawi has urged Kuwaiti students in Canada to serve as the best representatives of their country by adhering to the laws of the host country.

The statement was made during a speech the Ambassador delivered in the recently concluded Second Annual Conference of the National Union of Kuwait Students- Canada branch, which was held in the Canadian City of Montreal. The event was attended by the Director of Kuwait Cultural Office in Canada Dr. Fahad AlNaser and a host of leading Kuwaiti academic and social figures.

Alfailakawi stated that hard work and success are the goals that students aspire in order to complete their study and return home to contribute their quota to the development of the nation.

The Ambassador commended the National Union of Kuwait Students- Canada for their steadfastness, while wishing them utmost success in achieving their goals.

He also called on the students not to hesitate to visit the Embassy, which is also responsible for their welfare and addressing the challenges they might face.

Ambassador Alfailakawi equally elaborated on the longstanding relations between the State of Kuwait and Canada in all domains.

For their part, the Director of Kuwait Cultural Office in Canada Dr. Fahad AlNaser, NAUK-Canada’s Head of Administration Jabri AlJabri and a representative of the Ministry of Youth Faisal AlQahtani delivered speeches urging students to redouble their efforts to achieve their goals.

AlJabri thanked the Ambassador for honoring their initiation, and commended the Ministry of Higher Education for its unwavering commitment to supporting the youth of the country.
