Kuwait remembers Canadian Veterans on the occasion of the 30th Anniversary of the Liberation from the Iraqi Invasion

 

On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the liberation, the Government and the people of the State of Kuwait shall remain grateful to the Canadian veterans who have contributed to the liberation of Kuwait. Their sacrifices will be eternally engraved in the memory of the people of Kuwait.

Marking the event, H.E. the Ambassador Reem Alkhaled and Canada’s Minister of Veterans Affairs Honourable Lawrence MacAulay seized the opportunity to express profound gratitude to the gallant Canadian veterans for granting freedom to the people of Kuwait.

Meanwhile, the Embassy of The State of Kuwait in Canada has dispatched medals to 99 veterans who were not previously honored.
