H.H. Crown Prince of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah has met with the Governor General of Canada, H.E. the Right Honourable Mary Simon during her official visit to Kuwait to discuss bilateral relations.

H.H. Prime Minister of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah has also met with the H.E. the Right Honourable Mary Simon, Governor General of Canada where they embraced excellent relations that both countries have.

The Governor General visited Camp Canada to meet with CAF members involved in Operation IMPACT.

The Governor General also visited Sadu House, a museum and cultural centre devoted to preserving Kuwaiti textile heritage. She took part in a round-table discussion with eight other women, including H.E. Reem Al-Khaled, Canada's Ambassador to Kuwait, they shared their experiences.
