On the occasion of International Women's Day, Her Excellency Reem Alkhaled, Ambassador of the State of Kuwait, in collaboration with, Her Excellency Ines Coppoolse, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands invited WHDMO members to a network event at the official residence of the Netherlands. The Guest of Honour, Honourable Ahmed Hussen, Minister of Diversity, Inclusion and Youth of Canada, joined virtually via Zoom in which the Minister exchanged with members what International Women's Day means and shared his advice on what can be further done to empower women, while thanking the members for representing and advancing measures to increase women's participation in peace and political processes.
