Legalization of Documents to Kuwait

Types of Documents : 

Commercial Invoice – Certificate of Origin - Packing list 

PLEASE NOTE THAT FEES AND RULES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE AT ANY TIME WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE.

The Embassy will legalize documents related to trade or business that are certified by the following :-

  1. Local Canadian Chamber of Commerce or Local Canadian Board of Trade. (Please ensure that the name of the authorized signature is printed on each document.
  2. Notary public or lawyer signature on each document.
  3. Global Affairs Canada

 

FEES :

Commercial Invoice – (Can. $60) per document

Certificate of Origin – (Can. $90) per document

Packing List – (Can. $90) per document

Other certificates – (Can. $30) per document

 

INSTRUCTIONS :

  • All documents must be stamped by Canadian notary public or lawyer and the local chamber of commerce or Canadian board of trade (please ensure that the name of the authorized signature is printed on each document.
  • Prepaid FedEx waybill, Purolator, UPS, DHL or Express post envelopes and Waybill must be enclosed inside for return and the printed computer label must include your name, address, phone number and courier account number for return.
  • Fees must be paid by Canadian money order payable to the "Embassy of the State of Kuwait".
  • If lodging documents in person to the Embassy this should be done between the hours 9:00a.m and 12:30p.m. You will be contacted once the documents are ready for pickup.
